She is a Black Ameraucana who is at the top of the pecking order, so obviously must be at the top of this list. A gentle giant with humans, she asserts her dominance within her coopmates on a daily basis. This breed of bearded ladies with muffs and peacombs typically lay 4 to 6 Medium/Large blue or green eggs weekly.
She is a Speckled Sussex who is an excellent forager and loves free ranging. This calm and beautiful breed typically lays 4-6 Large light brown eggs per week.
Cookie's feathery feet make her more susceptible to health issues, but she was provided as a complimentary addition to my initial chick order and she has been an absolute delight. Cookie’s breed is a mystery, but her eggs are never a mystery, as it's always the smallest (and cutest) of the batch.
RiRi & Honey are Road Island Reds (Rhode Island’s Official State Bird!) which are calm and are among the best layers for a heavy breed. Hens can lay around 4-6 Large brown eggs per week
Sunny & Sugar are Buff Orpingtons, known for their friendly nature and cuddly appearance, typically laying 4-6 Large brown eggs per week.
